ALERTAN A LA SOCIEDAD CIVIL ACERCA DE CONVOCATORIA FALSA A CONFERENCIA INTERNACIONAL SOBRE TRABAJO INFANTIL!

(Santo Domingo – 15 de octubre de 2008) – La Fundación Comunidad Esperanza y Justicia Internacional, Inc (FUNCEJI) se hace eco de una denuncia publicada por el Comité Organizador de la tercera Conferencia Internacional sobre Trabajo y Explotación Infantil (CCLCE por sus siglas en inglés) acerca del uso ilegal que desaprensivos están haciendo del nombre de este evento.

La verdadera CCLCE fue celebrada del 3 al 5 de agosto de 2008 en Cairns, Provincia de Queensland, Australia (http://www.childjustice.org/wsecl); mientras que por la red de Internet circula una falsa invitación para una actividad con el mismo nombre a ser celebrada supuestamente en diciembre de este año primero en los Estados Unidos y después en Ghana, África. En dicho texto se invita a aquellas ONG´s o Profesionales involucrados en la materia a que se les envíe información personal (Nombres, Números de Pasaporte etc…) para ellos ¨gestionar¨ los trámites migratorios (visado norteamericano).

El texto falso al que nos referimos es como sigue:

These conferences are Free, the Sponsors will be responsible for your air ticket,?in the U.S.A???and the Conference committee will also fax a letter to the U.S.A Embassy with in country; these conferences are sponsored annually by NICEF, United Nations Security Council and First Ladies of Presidents of United Nations. Including other private sectors and company from U.S and across Europe
